The Story Behind the +
From Algorithm Tax Group to Algorithm+
Founded in 2017, Algorithm Tax Group brought together accounting and engineering expertise to approach specialty tax work differently. From the beginning, we looked beyond surface-level answers, using the underlying data and operational story of each business to guide our work.
Over time, our capabilities expanded to include deeper data analysis, new technologies and a growing network of professional partnerships. We continue to explore new ways to apply technology and data analysis, developing a TaxTech approach that builds on our tax and engineering expertise.
Our new name captures that evolution—and leaves room for what comes next. We are continuing to develop new services and capabilities that build on our foundation in accounting, engineering, data and technology. The "+" signals that our work will continue to evolve along with the needs of businesses and their advisors.

What the + Represents
The “+” represents more than expanded capabilities. It reflects how we work: bringing together different disciplines, perspectives and sources of information to reveal opportunities and build well-supported tax strategies.

Our name has changed, but the foundation of our work has not. We remain committed to rigorous analysis, defensible documentation and a partnership-first approach that strengthens the work of each client’s existing CPA and advisory team.
